As one of the largest publishing and printing companies in South Africa, Caxton and CTP Publishers and Printers recognises the need to commit to even more environmentally-aware practices within the organisation.

Environmental sustainability is a cornerstone of ethical, responsible business, and we are putting our weight firmly behind making conscious decisions that benefit the environment. The first of these is the Caxton and CTP Paper Pledge - a promise to do better, at every level of the business. From getting our manufacturing processes and factories certified, to not using plastic balloons in our promotions, we are transforming our regular practices into sound, sustainable practices. We are rolling out the Paper Pledge to all our business units, divisions and branches across the country to ensure consistency across all operations. To date, Caxton Printers, CTP Printers Johannesburg, CTP Stationery and Spark Media have all adopted the Paper Pledge in their businesses.

So, what does the pledge entail? It's an unbreakable promise to put the environment first, and to commit to six practices in our business, every day.

We pledge to:
• Implement sustainable processes in our operations.
• Use paper responsibly
• Source and use eco-friendly products, solutions and services.
• Recycle all recyclable waste products.
• Collaborate with local and international organisations for best practice solutions in sustainability.
• Educate our teams, suppliers and our clients on the importance of sustainable, and environmentally sound business practices.
